This report was written with high school (or university) physics students and teachers in mind. It is intended to give an overview of the study of gravity, from an historical perspective. The report is part of a "physics demonstration" project, which also includes three gravity well demonstrations, photographs, overheads, and other gravity demonstration materials. These materials are available for teachers to borrow, from the University of British Columbia. The report also includes information about how to make/ obtain your own gravity demonstrations.
