This worksheet provides step by step procedure of calculating the theoretical time of the object takes to travel down on the plane. The theoretical time and the experimental time will be examed and try to find any source of errors if they don't match to 0.001 seconds of time.
Students will later be remined that the mass of an object does not affect the time it takes to travel down at same distance. What matters then is the slope (the angle) of the inclined plane.
Below graph shows how the slope of the inclined plane affects the travel time of an object.
