UBC Demonstration Course
Welcome to my physics demonstration site. UBC Physics 420 course is a physics demonstrations course run by Andrej Kotlicki and Chris Waltham. All students must build and demonstrate a  project dealing with physics and then present it at local schools. Depending on the topic of the project, some are presented at elementary schools and others at high schools.

Depending on the complexity of the project some students may be required to take a machine shop course. Here they learn to use drill press, milling, lathe machines and safety considerations involved with each one of them. The students occasionally helped each other in building of their projects.

This particular demonstration is aimed for grade 12 or higher students.

Schools presented in the year of 2004:

Carson Graham High, North Vancouver

Pitt Meadows Secondary, Pitt Meadows
