My Project
The project was fairly simple to construct. The materials required were:
- 5 10Ω 10W resistors
- 5 #47 light bulbs 6.3V 0.15A
- 5 bayonette lamp sockets
- 22 sockets
- 10 jumper wires with banana plugs
- 4-cell battery pack
- 4 AA batteries
- Plexi-glass sheet
- Flat head screws, wood, glue (for the frame)
Hole were drilled into the plexi-glass sheet and the sockets, resistors, lamp sockets, and battery pack were attached. The resistors, lamp sockets, and battery pack were all soldered to the sockets. A frame was made out of wood to prevent the plexi-glass from flexing, and was attached to the plexi-glass sheet using flat-head screws (flat-head to prevent the plexi-glass from splitting). The base of the project was kept open to facilitate easy replacement of components that may break in the future.
