An Introduction to the Physics Behind Model Rockets

Hi everyone! My name is Glenn Grant and this is my page dedicated to model rockets and physics. There are a lot of pages out there that deal with rockets but not many of them talk about the physics behind them. Therefore, I decided to make this page informative as well as fun. The following pages will introduce you to the basic physics behind rocketry. I used this information while giving rocketry demonstrations at many schools here in B. C. and hopefully you will find it interesting. All of the rockets were built from Estes kits by myself. I started out with 3 rockets: the Alpha2; the Comanche 3; and the Space Shuttle. Through accidents and bad breaks I had to replace or repair most of these so I ended up with 5. You can read about what happened in the Murphy's Law section.
