Photos of Wind Turbine Demonstration

Here are some photos of the wind turbine demonstration in action.

Here is a photo of the fan box blowing wind across the turbine, causing it to spin. An AC current is being generated by the black generator and the electricity is being transported from the tower by the wires off the back. The gold box in the photo contains a transformer and a rectifier that converts the electricity to a usable DC voltage level. The electricity is then transported to the model houses via wires under the board.


Here is a closeup view of the model buildings with the red LEDs glowing from the electricity being produced by the wind turbine.
