Photos of Wind Turbine Demonstration
Here are some photos of the wind turbine demonstration in action.
Here
is a photo of the fan box blowing wind across the turbine, causing it to
spin. An AC current is being generated by the black generator and the electricity
is being transported from the tower by the wires off the back. The gold
box in the photo contains a transformer and a rectifier that converts the
electricity to a usable DC voltage level. The electricity is then transported
to the model houses via wires under the board.
Here
is a closeup view of the model buildings with the red LEDs glowing from
the electricity being produced by the wind turbine.
