Constant of Proportionality

Answer: Take the period in terms of Venus years (where one Venus year is the amount of time it takes for Venus to orbit once around the Sun), and the semimajor axis in terms of Venus astronomical units (where one Venus astronomical unit is the average distance from Venus to the Sun along it's semimajor axis). This will yield equal numbers for the square of the period and the cube of the semimajor axis for each planet, only this time the numbers for Venus will both be 1.000, and the numbers for the other planets will all be different from the above table. The same could be done for any of the planets, instead of Venus.
