Figure 8 shows the refraction of light using the same apparatus as the previous experiment.

You can experiment with the dependence of the outcome of the ray on the angle of incidence.  Try this by pointing a laser pointer through a beaker of water.  See at what angles you can get only reflection, only refraction, and both reflection and refraction at the same time (see Figure 9, done from the same apparatus).
